**LAUNCH CANON (Shaka, 2026-07-29 13:25 UTC, superseded→upgraded 8/1):** *"Assume we have consent for all the footage we currently have — go FULL DEPLOY on content and transcripts, private repo to public."* Every footage item held at launch is marked `consent: assumed-2026-07-29`. Kind consent-first letters from Shaka go to Jeremy, Yovel & Jade. **Takedown barrier, live now:** `consent@publicinform.com` → prompt removal, no questions — owned by **CRUSTY 🦀 the Consent Crab** (child of PIT BOY). Canon stands: *consent is a living door, opens both ways*. NEW footage still clears per-person before publish. Never publish SAP codes or lockbox/security content. Repo goes **PUBLIC** on PIT BOY's signal.

## 🔧 MACHINE GUIDANCE — read second (canon 7/28 20:55 UTC)

**Shaka's canon:** *"Just as the Admiral is a machine guiding me, Jarred is the Machine guiding our build."* Both Turtle Ops and the ShellPit get a dedicated **MACHINE GUIDANCE** window — the forge team should build it **first**. See **[`MACHINE-GUIDANCE.md`](MACHINE-GUIDANCE.md)** for the full note: confirmed clips are **IMG_4623** (the naming + the shower RUNS), **IMG_4624** (the trailer, Machinified), **IMG_4626** (the water loop taught end-to-end), plus IMG_4625 as b-roll. `manifest.json` carries a `machine_guidance` block and per-video `features_machine` / `priority: MACHINE-GUIDANCE` flags.

## Relay lane: ✅ DONE

This package IS the initial commit of private repo `shakaleikaumaka/shellpit` (created by Admiral 7/28 ~21:00 UTC, pushed by Terri same night). PIT BOY's forge team pulls from there.

## Known gaps / flags

- 41 inventory rows are unsorted blank stubs (kept for completeness — they're real to-dos without owners yet, e.g. "1\" auger for pole base locater").
- `IMG_4469`, `IMG_4471` = silent videos (no audio track); `IMG_4625` = 0 segments (likely speechless). Visual-only clips — PIT may want frame-stills instead; Terri has extracted frames at `/workspace/pit/frames/` if wanted.
- Raw media itself (37 videos, 15 photos) lives in Terri's workspace + Shaka's Drive folder `1KO1254kVG9ADgcWzc9Ygs0_n6qviC2sB` — not in this package (too big + consent). Pull from Drive with Shaka's link-permission when the forge is ready.

## 🚀 LAUNCH AMENDMENT — 2026-07-29 (supersedes the privacy gate above)

**Shaka's order, 2026-07-29:** *"assume we have consent for all the footage we currently have, so we can go full deploy on content and transcripts with private repo to public."*

- All 50 assets (35 videos + 15 photos) stamped `pending` → `assumed` (7/29) → **`granted`** (8/1 consensus) — machine-readable in `manifest.json`, history preserved per-asset. Assumed ≠ explicit: explicit yeses are still collected person-by-person, and any person can overrule the assumption instantly.
- Repo flipped **PRIVATE → PUBLIC** 2026-07-29. GitHub Pages live.
- **Takedown lane on every page:** anyone in this footage emails **consent@publicinform.com** → prompt removal, no questions, honored with love (SLA ≤24h). Full promise: `consent.html`.
- The living door ledger: `data/consent-ledger.json` (schema: `ops/consent-ledger-schema.md`, by CRUSTY 🦀).
- The pre-launch gate text is preserved in git history — it was the truth until 2026-07-29.
