Visual build guide β David's 4Γ8Γ3 ft coffin cold box in 12 illustrated steps. Plywood shell, XPS heart, twin AC lungs. A key shelf in keeping the shell fed. π’
π¨ ΒΎ DONE Β· lid + hinges + interior foam this week Β· plywood-box design Β· ship-ready by early Aug πͺThe layout: LOW unit in the far left-bottom corner of end wall A Β· HIGH unit in the far right-top corner of end wall B β a full diagonal both across and along the box. Corners are also the strongest part of the structure (2Γ2 corner posts right there = free anchoring). Window ACs are heavy, so every pound bears on wood, never foam β and everything uninstalls in minutes for travel.
Every tool the build needs, drawn so you can spot it on the garage wall. π’ = borrow from Dad Β· π = buy/own Β· β = camp already has it. Used-in-step numbers on each card.
