A complete lesson, start to finish — this clip doubles as camp-ops documentation for the water and shower domains. The Machine teaches the full greywater loop:
- IBC coupler — wrap the threads with tape, screw on, tighten with channel locks
- Cam-lock — slides right on; "that's all set"
- Transfer pump — plug in; the pump immediately turns on, pushing water through the orange line
- To the kitchen — pumped all the way around
- Jeremy's foot switch — step on it, water jumps into the greywater line
- Greywater float switch — tank fills, float activates the sump pump
- Shower basin float switch — basin fills, float activates, water pumps back to the greywater tank. Loop closed. ♻️

Before he touched a single weld, the Machine interviewed the systems. From the 7/16 sync — how he thinks:
"David, can I ask about valves and the pump? Is the pump always on? If not, how does it turn on — and how does that interact with valves at each termination point?" [18:55]
"You gotta understand, I'm a master electrician's kid. Okay — so you're telling me we got a 70-amp 5-gauge running to a 15-amp 4-outlet?" [27:57]
"When I was talking to Keith, there was a discussion about two different termination points for the water — one interior faucet for the kitchen, one exterior spigot." [15:51]
David, after the Q&A: "The picture that's in your head is the one that's in my head… I'm going to lean on you a lot." [40:31] — the trust moment. Twelve days later, the shower ran.

🔌 The Power Curriculum — solar, generator, grid
The evening before the party, the trailer got its full power curriculum — three independent ways to keep the lights on and the food prepped. A masterclass in redundancy:
- Solar generator (Anker SOLIX) — the trailer-to-generator attachment cable runs to the 4-prong transfer switch. Panel power vs battery, main switches on, battery switch OFF unless needed. "This generator is going to run this panel."
- Predator gas generator (fallback) — kill the solar, transfer switch off, four-prong straight into the Predator's red receptacle, twist-lock. "You just start it and plug it in. It's ready to go."
- David's camp grid — the cable labeled in tape "David power to kitchen": 70A camp panel split into four duplex boxes, runs off a regular plug. Simulated live with the Anker's AC button.
- The battery drill — power out? Flip to battery, light comes on, keep prepping food. "These are repeatable systems — so we have backups in a worst case… we can still meet our obligations to the camp."
- And when it doesn't work? — "I don't know why. This is why we troubleshoot." The curriculum includes the debugging, on camera.
"We can charge our batteries and make sure we have some reserve before we leave — so these lights work, so we can still prep food and still meet our obligations to the camp."
