Terrible Turtle Camp is a community of artists, engineers, and AI enthusiasts building an immersive Burning Man camp where technology meets radical creative expression. This pit preserves the build β every clip, every meeting, every armory item β timestamped, transcribed, forkable by every camp forever.
A master electrician's kid. Introduced to David on the 7/16 sync β they clicked instantly β on-site at Phoenix Gulch the week of 7/20 and again on 7/28, when the shower ran and the trailer became a machine. His name appears in transcripts as Jarrett (7/16 meeting) and Jared (7/28 footage) β same human. This window is how a camp actually gets built: weld by weld, valve by valve.
Nineteen seconds of pure victory: water flowing through the shower the Machine plumbed β and the moment the camp gave him his name. The perfect opener for this window.
granted β consent consensus declared by Shaka 2026-08-01. Anyone in this clip emails consent@publicinform.com and it comes down, no questions, honored with love. Consent is a living door β it opens both ways. πͺ

The Machine's electrical walkthrough of the camp's kitchen trailer β an annotated tour:
granted β consent consensus declared by Shaka 2026-08-01. The transcript below is the walkthrough's soul, word for word. Takedown: consent@publicinform.com, no questions.

A complete lesson, start to finish β this clip doubles as camp-ops documentation for the water and shower domains. The Machine teaches the full greywater loop:
granted β consent consensus declared by Shaka 2026-08-01 Β· takedown: consent@publicinform.com, no questions.

Before he touched a single weld, the Machine interviewed the systems. From the 7/16 sync β how he thinks:
Honesty note: meeting speaker labels come from the call recorder and are occasionally mis-attached β quotes here were verified against context. Full transcript: 2026-07-16-david-sync.md (+ Jade's notes). Photos: none confirmed to feature the Machine β the 7/20 shower-cut photos and 7/21 custom-hose photo document work from his on-site week, attribution unconfirmed. We don't caption what we can't verify.
The evening before the party, the trailer got its full power curriculum β three independent ways to keep the lights on and the food prepped. A masterclass in redundancy:
Teacher confirmed: The Machine β IMG_4709 opens with "We got The Machine leading the team." Same session, same teacher, full curriculum. π’
granted (consensus 2026-08-01) Β· takedown: consent@publicinform.com, no questions. The build in clips β the Tool Maker session, the veggie coffin walls, the semi arriving, the shower cut, the day the water ran. Demo-heavy and speech-light by nature; honesty badges mark the silent and the speechless. NEW 8/1: the party-eve masterclass β The Machine leading the team through hitches, power, spares, and camlocks. The gold is what's shown.
How a village actually gets provisioned β the camp's living inventory, forkable by every camp. The taxonomy is the jewel: a 39-row starter version ships in camp-data/inventory-starter.json.
π The teachable build β every domain has a public playbook on the ops site: π³ Kitchen Β· π© Kitchen build Β· πΏ Shower (10 steps) Β· β°οΈ Dorm shade ("The Himalayas") Β· βΊ Dining shade Β· π§ Cold box Β· π₯¬ Veggie coffin Β· π Semi packing Β· π’ Turtle truck Β· πΊοΈ Camp map β the whole recipe, forkable.

Every sync that shaped the camp β Shaka Γ Jade, the David infrastructure calls, coordination, the kitchen trailer, the cold yogis. The Machine speaks in the 7/16 David sync β listen for him there.
It opens both ways. On 2026-08-01 Shaka declared consent consensus for the whole build archive β every stamp in the ledger now reads granted, alongside the full history (pending β assumed 7/29 β granted 8/1). Consent granted is still consent revocable: any single person can overrule it in one email, instantly. Every stamp lives in manifest.json, machine-readable, with the full history kept β nothing silently erased. New footage entering the folder inherits the consensus scope; the takedown door stays open forever.
Anyone in this footage β face or voice β emails consent@publicinform.com and they vanish from the archive. Prompt removal, no questions, no forms, honored with love. A one-word email is enough. Full promise: consent.html.
Every stamp, every upgrade from assumed β explicit, every revocation lives in data/consent-ledger.json β machine-readable forever. Nothing is silently erased; the history of every yes and every no stays on the record.
Forever. The P.I.T. Protocol is building revocable consent as a first-class primitive (see publicinform.com). The door never locks behind you.
The ShellPit is a gift to the playa: a forkable template so any camp can preserve how their village got built. Move slow & bite things β but bite with permission.
